A bit of history… Lotto Sport Italia was established in 1973 by the Caberlotto family, the then-owners of F.C. Treviso, originally specialising in sports footwear. Associated with its iconic logo from the very beginning, overlapping a football field and tennis pitch, Lotto products have remained largely the same since its birth, expanding to sportswear swiftly and never looking back. Focusing on the Italian markets for the first decade, Lotto exclusively sponsored national athletes before venturing abroad. The 80s and 90s saw Lotto create their first football boot and sign major names and teams to promote the brand, including Milan and the Dutch national team. Today Lotto is both worn by athletes and athleisure fans on and off the pitch.
One of the leading sportswear brands, Lotto sought out support from famous athletes, including the tennis players John Newcombe and Tonino Zugarelli in the 70s and football legends, including Carlo Ancelotti and Ruud Gullit, in the 80s. Still pursuing endorsement, particularly in these two sports, throughout the decades, Lotto began to appear on the high street as part of the athleisure trend, sported particularly by hip hop artists.
