A bit of history… Harley Davidson was originally founded as an American motorcycle manufacturer in 1903, by William S. Harley and Arthur Davidson. The two childhood friends worked on Harley’s designs in the very early 1900s, finishing the first model in 1903. Since then Harley Davidson is considered the top manufacturer of the bikes with an incredibly loyal following and a thriving business in merchandise. Harley Davidson leather jackets were and still are iconic, often embellished with the familiar orange logo and the 70s, with its fashion upheavals, that saw them take off. Slowly the brand began to permeate its way into everyday wear and in 1992 it won the Council of Fashion Designers Award for introducing the biker aesthetic into the ready-to-wear markets.
