Gottwood Spotlight #2

Posted on October 19 2016

BRADLEY ZERO  Bradley Zero is an emerging figurehead in Peckham’s burgeoning music scene and runs Rhythm Section, which might just be London’s most progressive soulful outlet for contemporary music. He is, of course, a DJ. But Zero is also a kind of curator for South-East London’s house, soul and disco scene. He’s credited with bringing the Pender Street Steppers over to the UK for the first time, and for setting up numerous collaborative relationships.   He’s a tastemaker and all-round nice guy. Whilst still young, Bradley’s won the favour of scene-makers like Gilles Peterson and has created a crowd of his own, nestled in Peckham’s thriving streets. His nightlong sessions, alongside label mates at Canavan’s Pool Club and Bussey Building have already become local legend. Bradley’s is a huge fan of Gottwood and spends an inordinate amount of time sunning himself on the grass in front of the lake stage. He was a permanent fixture there last year and probably will be again if the sun holds out.   Facebook: Label: Soundcloud:
